Regional Catchment Strategies are a requirement under Part 4, Division 1 of the Catchment and Land Protection Act (1994). The Corangamite Regional Catchment Strategy is being renewed in line with approved Guidelines that have been produced by the Victorian Catchment Management Council.

The development of the strategy has been completed in line with the guidelines developed by the Victorian Catchment Management Council. It has involved a deep and extensive engagement process which can be viewed by accessing the above link.
The delivery of the strategy will be monitored and reported against a state-wide outcomes framework that will ensure consistency and continuity of reporting across its life.
